The school has been lucky enough to be gifted a new hedgerow for our field to create a new wildlife area.
The Woodland Trust sent us 30 saplings, including dog roses, dog wood, hawthorn, hazel and crab apple, to plant.
On Tueday 14th and Wednesday 15th November 2017, parents and grandparents of children from our Gardening and Science Clubs joined their children to plant the new hedgerow. Lots of digging was followed by tea, hot chocolate and cake.
Thank you to everyone who was involved and we hope you enjoy watching the hedgerow grow as you walk to school.
