Throughout the school the children are provided with opportunities to take part in competitions. These may be a result of an extra-curricular activity or competitions which the school feel may give the children a taster of different physical activities that the children may want to continue to take part in.
Children in Year 5 and 6 were given the opportunitity to attend a Cross County club. They worked hard in the sessions and began to see an improvement in their fitness and team work. The children were excited to take part in a competition and created two teams (a Year 5 and Year 6 team) who encouraged each other and successfully completed the competition.
We are very proud of our Cross-Country team.
The Year 4 class created two teams to enter into a Golf competition. Lots of the children who took part in the competition had never played Golf before and enjoyed taking part in a new sport. Everyone involved had a fantastic time.
Well Done Year 4!
