(Figures in red are above / in line with whole class average.)

Our pupils have few life experiences so our Pupil Premium is used to enhance their learning and give context to their academic activities.

The impact can be seen on our Raise Online document (p39) where our Progress Measures Value Added are significantly above the national average in reading, all areas.  Above the national in writing in most areas  and our low attainers are significantly above the national in mathematics.

In the 2013 KS2 SATs 88% of our disadvantaged pupils achieved Level 4+ in both English and maths.  In Stoke on Trent LA we are ranked fifth out of 70 schools for improving the life chances of disadvantaged pupils.
