EYFS General Information

This page is relating to pupils in Nursery and Reception.




w/c 28.9.20 9.15am - 2.45pm



Reception will continue to operate the staggered drop off and collection times. Your Reception child will be dropped off and collected at the same time as your eldest child. Please ensure that you drop off and collect your eldest child first. 

Drop off:

8.30am - year 5 & 6 siblings

8.45am - year 3 & 4 siblings

9.00am - year 1 & 2 siblngs

9.15am - Reception 



2.45pm - Reception 

3.00pm - year 1 & 2

3.15pm - year 3 & 4

3.30pm - year 5 & 6



Homework tasks will be set on-line every Friday, commencing 18.9.20. You can find your child's homework task on their class page. 



When your child has PE they will need to come to school wearing appropriate clothing for outdoor PE. 

- white t-shirt / sweatshirt / jumper

- jogging bottoms

- trainers (not PE pumps) 

PE will begin after half-term for Early Years and you will be informed of your child's PE day. 



We will inform you of when we are doing art activities so that your child can come to school wearing their art clothes. This should be something that they don't mind getting messy. 



Please label all of your child's belongings, including lunches, bottles and clothing.

9.15 – doors open 

9.20 - register & breakfast

9.30 - phonics

10.00-10.30 - break 

10.30-11.30 - guided tasks/child initiated learning

11.30-12.45 - lunchtime

12.45-1.00 - registration

1.00-1.30 - maths

1.30-2.30 - guided tasks/child intiated activities

2.30 - story, snack and home




w/c 21.9.20 - please provide a packed lunch for your child.

w/c 28/9/20 - school dinners can be ordered via the office and payed for using ParentPay.



w/c 21/9/20 - packed lunches available to all Reception children.

w/c – an option of hot lunches will be available to all reception.

Reception children can bring a labelled water bottle to school.
