Welcome to the Heron Cross Hens own Blog. Keep up to date with what the hens are up to and who has been to visit them.
Day 9: We have heard that the children have seen a theatre production based on 'Fantastic Mr Fox'. We are a little concerned that there may be foxes about... Hopefully Year 3 and 4 will keep us up to date.
Day 8: We had a lovely visit from Year 1 today. Mrs Hancock and Miss Hughes are helping the children do some maths based on our eggs! Who would have thought!?
Day 7: We had a lovely visit from the football team. They were rather muddy!
Day 6: Mr Adams has visited us just to make sure we have settled in well. He has changed our water and put some rings on our legs. This way the children can call us the correct name.
Day 5: THE NEXT EGGS ARE HERE!!
Cassie has layed some beautiful eggs. Just as she was recovering she was visited by those wonderful children in the nurture group and Mrs Rowley. Here is a picture of the first cakes made with our eggs.
Day 4: Midnight is feeling a little low at the moment. She is missing her old home. Can you visit her to cheer her up?
Day 3 :During Assembly today , the children have chosen our names...

We have settled into our new omlette igloo. It is warm and cosy. Molly has been so at home she has already laid two eggs. Who will be next?
If your teacher's are feeling kind ask them to come down and visit us!
Day 2 : Mr Wilks has been hovering around with his camera. Does he not realise hens laying eggs need some privacy.
